Frequently asked questions
The questions people ask most before getting in touch. If yours is not here, message on WeChat or start the free assessment.
Is the initial assessment really free?
Yes. It tells you whether there is a workable path. It is free and is not formal immigration advice. If you go ahead, you receive a written quote and service agreement first.
How are fees set?
By visa type and complexity, confirmed in writing before you sign the service agreement. INZ application fees are separate.
Can you help if I am outside New Zealand?
Yes. Most work happens by WeChat, phone, email and video, with documents shared electronically.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. If you would like to meet, please book ahead.
How long will it take?
Processing times vary widely between visa types and change with INZ workloads. We give you a current guide at the assessment.
Who handles my case?
All immigration advice comes from the licensed adviser, Jiaxian (Jason) Liu, and you review the application before it is lodged. Office manager Kiki Huo helps with appointments, documents and updates.
Can you guarantee approval?
No. Immigration New Zealand makes every decision and nobody can guarantee an outcome. We prepare the strongest application we can and tell you plainly where the risks are.
Not sure which pathway fits?
Tell us the basics and Jason will tell you whether there is a workable path. The initial assessment is free.
